Portland, Oregon native Johnny Acurso was raised on Perry Mason reruns and weened on Godzilla marathons. He is obsessed with all things hilariously retro and thinks it's about time we had flying cars. After a brief affair with the east coast, he is back in his home town where he spends his time befriending stray cats and making art.

His work has been exhibited by the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles and his illustration clients include Time-Out New York, McGraw Hill, The Portland Mercury, MTV and many more.
